Upload pictures you have taken out on the water on the upload page, so that others can search to see if it was a picture of them.

We now work with Photobucket!

No need to upload pictures twice

If you have pictures of yachts sailing, which you think owners' would like to see, already up on Photobucket, you only need to copy the link to yourboatpix

Simply copy the Photobucket "Direct Copy" link by clicking it, go to the yourboatpix Upload or link page and paste it in the the URL field. Your picture stays on Photobucket and we just show a linked copy in our indexes here

Picture this: two boats sailing towards one another. It's going to be a close pass. Someone goes below for a camera. It's a great shot but by now the boats are passing and soon will be opening the gap at 12kts. What do you do?

How does it work?

It's free and you don't have to register

Anyone can upload pictures, search for pictures and download them. Its free and you don't have to register.

When you upload a picture you get to enter an "Editing PIN", which you should keep in case you need to unlock the details of the picture later to edit or delete it if you choose.

1700 pictures and 34,000 views

The rate at which pictures are uploaded slows up in the winter.

Why not look through your pictures from the summer and upload any you have of boats out on the water.

Views and downloads continue all year. So far 35909 views have been downloaded.

These little graphs give some idea of the rate pictures have been added since March 07. Spot the good weather months!
